Tamarindo Phone Book

Welcome Visitors

Welcome to Tamarindo, Costa Rica! It is a small place, measuring about 2 miles from north to south. However, sooner or later during your vacation, you'll need to use a Phone Book, and this is the only accurate one! Also, people often find their way around using our Visitor's Guide, and has a great, little simple map inside.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Trips

An average water temperature of about 80 degrees Fahrenheit makes exploring the Gold Coast’s kaleidoscopic undersea universe a most delightful pursuit. With variable visibility ranging from 30% to an unmatched 100%, the area’s colorful and diverse marine life is offset by a network of cliffs, passages and tunnels. Most favorable diving and snorkeling conditions coincide with rainy season—between May and October, with November’s usually calm climate distinguishing it as possibly the best month of all.
